Lake Springfield Garden Walk set for July 8

SPRINGFIELD – The Springfield Civic Garden Club (SCGC) will host a Garden Walk on Saturday, July 8, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring five select gardens in the Lake Springfield area.  The event is open to the public.

SCGC members are admitted free of charge.  Guests will pay $20 per person, or by paying $30, will also receive an annual membership to the Garden Club.

It is suggested that participants begin the Garden Walk by visiting the event hub at Lincoln Memorial Garden (LMG) and Nature Center, 2301 East Lake Shore Drive in Springfield. Public restrooms are only available at Lincoln Memorial Garden.
